Description Air China Limited, together with its subsidiaries, provides airline and airline-related services primarily in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. The companys Airline Operations segment offers air passenger and air cargo services. Its Other Operations segment provides aircraft engineering services, air catering services, and airport ground handling services. The company is also involved in import and export trading activities; the provision of air ticketing, human resources, aircraft overhaul and maintenance, and cabin services; and the operation of a flight academy. As of December 31, 2012, it owned and operated 461 aircrafts primarily Boeing and Airbus aircrafts. The company was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Beijing, the Peoples Republic of China.
