Description Mr. Alcides Lopes Tapias has been a member of our board of directors since April 30, 2002 (with investiture on August 5, 2002). He has been member of our audit committee since 2004. He is a partner in Aggrego Consultores and a member of its advisory board and a member of the board of directors and of the audit, finance and actuarial, human resources and information technology committees of Medial Sa?de S.A. He served on the board of directors of Tigre S.A. ? Tubos e Conex?es from 1995 to 1999 and again since 2004. He was the president of FEBRABAN from 1991 to 1994 and chairman of the board of Camargo Corr?a S.A. from 1996 to 1999, of Usinas Sider?rgicas de Minas Gerais S.A. - Usiminas from 1997 to 1999 and of S?o Paulo Alpargatas S.A. from 1996 to 1999. He was the Minister for Development, Industry and Commerce of the Brazilian Federal Government from September 1999 to July 2001. He was also a member of the trustee board of the Antonio Prudente Foundation Cancer Hospital from 1999 to 2005 and the Advisory Council of the BMF&BOVESPA from 2003 to 2008. He also served as the president of the fiscal council of Cia. de Bebidas das Am?ricas - AMBEV from 2005 to 2008. Mr. Tapias has a bachelor?s degree in business administration from Universidade Mackenzie and a bachelor?s degree in law from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas.
