Alexis Michas
Description Mr. Michas has been the Managing Partner and a director of Stonington Partners, Inc. since 1994 and the founder and Managing Partner of Juniper Investment Company, LLC since 2008. Mr. Michas was previously a partner of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Inc. (?MLCP?), a wholly owned subsidiary of Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., from 1993 to 1994, and Senior Vice President of MLCP from 1989 to 1993. He served on the board of directors of MLCP from 1989 to 2001 and was a consultant to MLCP from 1994 to 2001. Mr. Michas was also a Managing Director of the Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated from 1991 to 1994. Mr. Michas received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. Mr. Michas is also a director of BorgWarner Inc., Lincoln Educational Services Corporation, AirTran Airways, Inc. and a number of privately held companies. Mr. Michas is the Chairman of the board of trustees of Athens College in New York.
