Allan Silber
Description Allan C. Silber, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Silber was elected to the Board of Directors as a Class II director in September 2001. He was appointed as Chairman of the Board in November 2001, a position he held until October 2004, and was again appointed as Chairman of the Board in March 2005. Mr. Silber is the Chairman and CEO of Counsel Corporation, which he founded in 1979, the Chairman of Knight?s Bridge Capital Partners Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Counsel that is a financial services provider, and, since 2007, the Chairman and CEO of Terra Firma Capital Corporation, a TSX Venture Exchange listed company of which Counsel owns approximately 23%.
