The company has strategic alliances with Northrop Grumman for LFS scintillation material, Fujikura Ltd. for fiber and solid-state laser systems, Malaysian Institute of Microelectronics for the solid-state MAPD photo detectors, and Anteryon BV for component of the 3D display screens. Zecotek Photonics Inc sells its products to industrial, scientific, and medical markets in Asia, Europe, and North America. The company was formerly known as Zecotek Medical Systems Inc. and changed its name to Zecotek Photonics Inc. in November 2007.
